  Why is 'women bashing' allowed on this board?

  there is a poster on this board with the moniker 'd8ta' that has called a female poster a 'bitch' and another female poster a 'whore' and yet you men let him get away with it.

  this is disgusting!

  is this what leaving jehovah does to people?

  The BEST things about the USA

  we`ve seen some pretty mean usa bashing.so it`s time for a new thread about the good things in the usa..first off they got coors beer,a dam fine beer i must say.disineyland,what kid dosen`t want to go to disineyland?been there more than a few times and i intend to go again.tex-mex food,i`ll be dammed if i can get a decent enchilada this side of the border.the oregon coast with the giant red wood forest,a beautiful drive on a holiday.the humungas servings when you go to a usa restaraunt,especialy the steakhouse`s.so if you live in the usa,or go for a visit like i do,what are the things you enjoy in the usa?...outlaw edited by - outlaw on 2 july 2002 20:25:30.

  From my experiences in forign countries namily Ukraine Russia and Turkey, I have to say the best thing about America is......Toilet Paper oh and tooth past and soap and deoderant and drinkable water and food that can actualy be eaten w/o getting sick and well ill just stop there

  I too was touched by the overbeers talk its such a loving thing that he did, to come all the way up north to check on his brothers and sisters, and the congo didnt even have to foot the bill for his travels

  im looking forward to seeing all the new friends an dthe old ones soon im thinking at my house in sept or early oct and everyone is welcome, traveling speakers especialy

  growing up in the jw religion (if you can call it that) was soo confusing.

  the terror tactics have left scars on my sisters, brother and myself.

  You said dthat your aunt lost a son to fire and is comforted by the hope of resurection. this is what is interesting to me , our familys and friends shun us ar thoes of us that are df'ed or da'ed and i wonder if they wopuld be happier if we were to die in a accident or somthing so that we would be resurected if they care that much i wonder how they cn practice shunning its the one thing in this world that depresses me i never thought my family would take as strong of stand as they have the only one that i talk to is my dad who is a elder so i guess he thionks its ok for him but i havent seen my nephews for so long that im starting to think they wouldnt even rember me and it sucks i used to say that my nephews were the children i would never have and now i dont have them any more but as much as it hurts me its not enough to make me go back ok ill stop now b 4 i get carried away

  it feels so comforting to make new friends that "understand" where i have come from.. i have read many many stories, and have sat back in awe....wow, what stories.

  you all call each other apostates, so why should you all get upset if i call you apostates?

  if you don't like being called 'apostate', what title would you prefer?

  I prefer to be called enlightened, but if you want to call me a apostate go ahead thats the last thing i would be offended by,

  as far as people on the board calling eachother apostates i guess its like a black person clling another black person a N-word not a big deal but a white person says it and the chit hits the fan
